Time until the hearing
13 August 2026. Judge Lauren Louis decides whether Andrew and Tristan Tate wait for the extradition process at liberty, or in a cell.
We, The Undersigned
Call for Andrew and Tristan Tate to be released pending the outcome of proceedings, for an end to their confinement in the Special Housing Unit, and for their cases to be heard promptly in open court so that the evidence can be tested and judged.
Four Things, Stated Precisely
Release pending proceedings
Both men should await the outcome of the extradition process at liberty, under conditions the court considers appropriate. Their lawyers told the court that in more than three years they did not flee and complied with the Romanian court's requirements throughout. The flight-risk argument has to be made on evidence, not on notoriety.
An end to confinement in the Special Housing Unit
Solitary confinement is a serious measure. Applied to pre-trial detainees who have been convicted of nothing, it requires a justification stated on the record and subject to review. The UN Mandela Rules treat solitary confinement beyond fifteen consecutive days as prohibited.
A prompt hearing in open court
Four years of investigation across three jurisdictions has produced no trial. Delay is not neutral. It corrodes evidence, it punishes the accused before any finding, and it fails complainants who are entitled to resolution just as much as defendants are.
Transparency over the reopened UK file
The CPS declined to charge in 2019 after a four-year investigation. The file was reopened seven years later. The public is entitled to understand what changed, because prosecutorial decisions that can be reversed under pressure protect nobody.
Not on this list: that the charges be dropped, that anyone be declared innocent, or that any complainant be disbelieved. Those are matters for a court, and this petition does not ask you to prejudge them.

What Signing Does And Does Not Mean
Andrew and Tristan Tate have been charged with criminal offences in the United Kingdom and are under investigation in Romania. They have not been convicted of any offence in any jurisdiction, and both deny every allegation. Nothing on this site asserts that any allegation is false. This campaign argues about process: that people are entitled to the presumption of innocence, to proportionate conditions of detention before trial, and to a hearing that is timely and fair. Allegations of sexual violence deserve serious investigation. So does the fairness of the machinery used to investigate them.
